Biography of Chambers Yang, a lawyer in Shanghai, China.

Mr. Chambers Yang has been an attorney for more than 20 years with extensional experiences in Real Estate and Construction, Corporate Matters, M&A, Cross-border Investment and Intellectual Property.

 

He has been invited as a legal expert to attend many expert meetings organized by Shanghai Development & Reform Commission, including BOT Bidding of the Offshore Wind Energy Farm Program, East China Sea Bridge Project and Changxing Island Project, etc.

 

He has provided full-range legal services for many large residential real estate development projects, commercial real estate projects and industrial facilities construction.

 

He has also provided legal services for acquiring a number of large real estate projects (of which, the acquiring of Central Plaza project was honored as one of the best-resolution cases by the Ministry of Justice, China).

 

In addition, Mr. Yang has provided various legal services for cases as syndicated loan for real estates, hotel management, and property management as well as real estate disputes, real estate lease & sale disputes and construction disputes resolution.

 

Mr. Yang has handled numerous legal cases in M&A and PE, including establishment of domestic enterprises, foreign-invested companies, representative offices of foreign companies; reorganization; M&A; equity transfer; VC/PE investment, transformation into joint-stock companies, listing in National Equities Exchange and Quotations System, stock option incentive, liquidations, and settlement of investment disputes.

 

He has also been invited to deliver key-note speeches on investment at a number of international conferences and symposiums.

 

Mr. Yang has handled dozens of dispute resolution regarding trademark, trade name, unfair competition, copyright, patent, technology development, import of technology and e-commerce.
