Zhenjiang Export Porcessing Zone was approved by the State Council on March 10,2003 with a total planned area of 2.53km2. The first-phrase project completed in December 2003 covers 0.91 km2 and was certified by the Customs General Administration and other seven ministries for operation on Dec.24,2003.

Zhenjiang Export Processing Zone locates at Jiangsu Provincial Zhenjiang Economic Development Zone east of Zhenjiang City. It enjoys very convenient transportation, which is 28km far from downtown, 3km north to Dagang Port and 15km south to Shanghai-Nanjing Express Way.

Along with its supervisory organs and administrative committee, this Zone provides full-service for the invested companies. The Customs offers service of clearance within 24 hours through ¡°Single declaring, Single checking and Single inspection¡±. The Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Office will also offer high efficient service.
