M&A Case: Legal Services on Acquisition of a WFOE in Real Estate Development Industry

Two years ago, a famous American real estate fund obtained the right of development of the central plot in Luwan District of Shanghai by acquiring total equity of a domestic real estate company. After two-year operation, the fund concluded an agreement with a real estate development group in Shanghai, that the former would sell to the latter a controlling percentage of equity of the foreign-owned real estate project company. Mr. Chambers Yang and his team provided legal services for the group in Shanghai, including the design of acquisition plan, drafting and negotiation of the contracts, application for approval, etc.
